Hotel Ristorante Romagna
was born from the renovation of Villa Giannina, built in 1700 and belonging to
one of the many wealthy families who spent their holidays on the lake.
Renovated and
extended, the structure now offers a wonderful terrace overlooking the lake and
a bright dining room with large windows overlooking the waters of Lake Maggiore: the hotel is
located right in front of the beautiful Borromee Islands offering at any time
of day a breathtaking
view.
The strategic position of the structure allows you to perform various activities
during your stay in the hotel: it is definitely worth taking the boat and reach
the Borromee Islands, you can organize
a visit to the magnificent Villa Taranto in Verbania (15 minutes by car) or
play golf at the beautiful Alpine field of Stresa.
There is no shortage of
opportunities to go trekking on the paths
of the surrounding mountains or to spend relaxing days on the beach.

eighteenth century, when it was a private villa.
In the 1970s, it was purchased by the Zangheri family and turned into an elegant
Hotel-Restaurant with a friendly family feel that has recently been extended and renovated.
Its magnificent and romantic dining room with a view of the lake also makes it
the ideal location for banquets and weddings.
The hotel is located 3 km from the centre of
Stresa and 1 km from the centre of Baveno,
where it is possible to take a boat to the Borromean Islands and Villa Taranto.
The hotel’s 23 rooms have recently been renovated in order to make your stay
more comfortable.
They are all equipped with an en-suite bathroom with shower, hair-dryer,
air conditioning, safe, telephone, flat screen TV with satellite
and digital channels, and wi-fi.
Allowing you to peacefully enjoy the view, all rooms have a
balcony or a small terrace looking over the lake either directly or from the side.

The Romagna Restaurant in Baveno, in the province of Verbania, offers a wonderful
view of Lake Maggiore and the Borromean Islands.
The restaurant, founded by the historic chef and owner Aldo Zangheri, is renowned for its long
history. Today it maintains the idea of healthy, tasty and genuine dishes with references to the
typical cuisine of Romagna, but without neglecting the delicacies and typical products of the
area such as lake fish or Piedmontese farmed meat.
To accompany and highlight the Chef's proposals, we have designed a special wine list that
presents a careful selection of white and red wines from all over our peninsula.

buffet breakfast is served and includes cured meats, cheese, cereals, yoghurt, fruit juice and
various types of bread.
